Looking for an exciting way to spend your 4th of July this summer? Here are a few places where you will be able to get away for the day and watch the summer night sky come to life with a spectacular display of Fireworks.

The Rose Bowl in Pasadena

This years celebration will be honoring the men and women of our Armed Forces. There will be food, activities and a Fun Zone for children, admission to the Fun Zone will be free. The show inside the Rose Bowl stadium will begin at 6:50. There will be a US Air Force flyover and field performances by units from the Drum Corps International, before the Fireworks Spectacular. Don’t miss out on all the excitement!
Parking Lot opens at 8:00 a.m. admission is $15 per car
Food and Fun Zone activities begin at 2:00 p.m.
General Admission Tickets $13 each, children 7 and younger are free.
Preferred Admission tickets are available for $25 each.

Almansor Park in Alhambra

Bring your picnic baskets or purchase tatsy treats from local youth group food vendors for this 4th of July event. Admission is free and the fireworks display starts at 9:00 p.m.

Edgewood Middle School in West Covina

This 4th of July celebration is to benefit The Muscular Dystrophy Association. There will be Carnival rides, games, and food from 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. There will also be live entertainment by Cold Duck from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Fireworks show to follow.

Bonita Highschool in Laverne

There will be activites going on ALL day for this 4th of July event. The Boy Scout Troop 411 kicks off the day with their Pancake Breakfast beggining at 6:30 a.m. which will take place across the street at the Methodist Church parking lot across the street from Bonita Highschool. After breakfast head on down to the Highschool for the Country Fair beggining at 8:00 a.m. There will be a pancake eating contest, a karaoke contest, a petting zoo, pony rides and much more food games and entertainment. Then there will be a pre-parade Harley Ride at 9:45 follwed by a traditional hometown parade at 10:00 a.m. There will be a Deep Pit BBQ Event at 4:00 p.m. hosted by the Methodist Church at the same location as the pancake breakfast be sure not to miss it! The gates for the fireworks show will open at 6:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00 p.m. starting with live entertainment from the band The Answer. Be dure to take the whole family down for a full day of fun!

The Hollywood Bowl

Head down to The Hollywood Bowl for a spectacular dispaly of fireworks and music. This event will take place on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7:30 p.m. each night.

The Fairplex of Pamona

Do you enjoy Monster Tucks and Freestyle Motocross? Then get down to the Pamona Fairplex for their KABOOM 4th of July Spectacular. There are also buffet combos available for purchase with this thrilling event. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Monster Truck show begins at 8:00 followed by fireworks at 9:15.
