Bring your kids to One Colorado courtyard, as fun and marvelous entertainers will be present every Tuesday and Thursday after school. All events free and open to the public big and small. Here is the schedule:
Since 1963, The Bob Baker Marionette Theater has been part of the Los Angeles Community (and the happy locale for birthday parties for generations of Angelinos). Located in a Downtown’s Historic-Cultural Landmark building, Bob Baker still brings joy to the City of Angels every year with over 200 performances and 2000 handcrafted puppets. He will be performing a different show every Tuesday at 4:30 pm.
THURSDAYS AT 4:30 pm
Christopher T. Magician will be performing in the “Not-So-Traditional Magic Show” on September 7. “Imagine Pee Wee’s Playhouse. Now imagine it being even better. A LOT better. Then imagine putting it in a blender with awesome-sauce. That’s what Christopher T. Magician feels like on your soul.”
“The Buster Balloon Show” will take place on September 14. Enjoyed by kids, parents, and even angsty teen siblings, “The Buster Balloon Show” is a wild and wacky mix of comedy, mind boggling magic and the most amazing twisted balloon creations you have ever seen! No, seriously!
International performer and one-half of the kids’ music and comedy team Razzle Bam Boom, Obediah Thomas takes the stage on September 21 with “The Really Big Show”. He delights the younger set with crowd-pleasing, goofy fun including marvelous magic, tremendous trumpet playing, silly dancing and more.
Last but not least Andrew & Polly will grace us with their presence on September 28. Loved by kids and adults, Andrew & Polly are award-winning music makers and the hosts of Ear Snacks, a radical podcast for kids and families. Their original earworms and inventive re-imaginings of classic favorites are smart, quirky and full of heart. Their song “Grapes” was SIRIUS XM’s #1 kids’ song of 2015, and A&P’s “Odds & Ends” album received a Parents’ Choice Award and was named one of the Fids & Kamily Top 10 Albums of 2015. The duo was honored to receive the ASCAP Foundation Joe Raposo Children’s Music Award in 2012.
Have fun out there!
