This Monday, I had an opportunity to visit Pasadena’s newly renovated convention center. I have to say that it is a beauty.
The city of Pasadena has spent 150 million dollars on renovations. It is a state of the art, LEED certified “green” facility.
Pasadena convention center features:
- 60,000 square feet of exhibit space
- 25 breakout rooms
- 25,000-square-foot ballroom
- Renowned 3,000-seat Pasadena Civic Auditorium

Exhibit Hall
The new state-of-the-art 60,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall is divisible in two sections. It is located adjacent to the 25,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, offering maximum convenience and flexibility.
Ballroom
The new 25,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom is divisible in 10 sections of varying combinations, making it perfect for banquets, fundraisers, weddings and more.
Conference Building
The newly renovated 28,000-square-foot Conference Building offers 19 well-appointed meeting rooms on two levels.
Civic Auditorium
Long considered to be one of the finest performance halls in the nation, the 3,000-seat Pasadena Civic Auditorium is perfect for general sessions, benefits and special events. The resplendent Gold Room accommodates 250 for a banquet.
For those of you new to Pasadena, Pasadena Convention Center is located on Green Street immediately behind Paseo Colorado shopping center. There’s plenty of parking at the Paseo Colorado as well as around the Pasadena Civic Center.
