Pop-Up Museum Pasadena

Pop-Up Museum Pasadena

People of Pasadena…it’s time to create art!! Be ready to showcase your work this Saturday! What comes to mind when you hear the word Conflict? Whatever that may be, draw, build and express it. Bring it to the Pasadena City Hall and participate in the Pop-Up Museum event. This is an temporary exhibition showcasing what the residence and visitors of Pasadena think of the city. It’s held four time this year (March 12, April 9, May 14 and June 11) with the themes of origin, time, conflict and family.

From the Side Street Project website: “A pop-up museum model is an alternate museum form that has recently been developed by artists, activists and educators. It seeks to turn the traditional museum on its head by letting the public become active makers of the museum. Participants will be invited to stay for the duration of the exhibit, encouraging discussion, storytelling and narratives to emerge.

Let your inner art soul out and share it with the city of Pasadena!
