Day 76: Tarantino’s Pizzeria – A Perfect Spot For Lunch!

I finally had a chance to visit Tarantino’s Pizzeria for lunch. I’ve heard about it from many of my friends, but somehow never had an opportunity to pop in.  So… Day 76 of 365 Things To Do In Pasadena™ offers a great place for lunch!

Tarantino’s is around Green Street and Hudson in the South Lake Avenue District. Definitely one of those restaurants that you would not notice driving down Green. However, definitely a favorite with Pasadeneans and the place was rockin’ for lunch!

Every red checkered table was taken and the waiters were barely able to keep up with orders. Why? Well… they’re known for their pizzas and if you love garlic, then pastas are for you! You’ll be in garlic heaven!

Prices are extremely reasonable. A pasta dish with side salad and bread runs under $6! Food is hot, service is great and the folks are friendly!

Next time, I’m trying their famous pizza and I hear that they have one of the best garbanzo salads (full of garlic!) in the area!!!

Oh… it’s CASH only!!!! So… don’t forget your mula… however, they’ll accept checks. 🙂
