The Governors of the US Postal Service have approved yet another price increase for mailing services.
The price for a 1-ounce first class stamp is being increased to 44 cents from 42 cents. Prices for other mailing services will also be increasing.
These rate hikes are taking effect May 11, 2009.
Here’s what you will be faced with when you had to your Pasadena post office:
Letters – first ounce - $0.44
Large envelopes – first ouce – $.088
Parcels – first ounce – $1.22
Additional ounces – $0.17
Postcard – $0.28
Stamped Card – $0.31
Stamped Envelope – $0.54
