Ever stumbled across this little Pasadena eatery?
Day 246 of 365 Things To Do in Pasadena® has us taking a trip over to Luciano’s Ristorante.
I’ve had the pleasure of taking a little stroll from the Pasadena Views office to this Italian eatery for lunch a few times.
Now I’m a creature of habit and I always get the same thing, the #11.
Here at the office it’s known as “The Noel Special”. It’s a ham sandwich, served on a large toasted roll with lettuce, tomatoes, and an over medium egg.
Absolutely delicious! 😉
Their motto for sandwiches is “Luciano’s where a sandwich is a meal” and they mean it! A whole sandwich is quite a large portion. You could easily share a sandwich and some chips with a buddy and be completely satisfied.
I usually order to go and head back to the office to eat, but they have quaint dine in tables available and they have outdoor patio seating which is perfect when the sun is shining and the weather is nice! You’re allowed to bring dogs and dine outside, on the patio, with them.
They offer many other sandwiches, salads, and have a variety of classic Italian dishes to choose from as well.
The service is outstanding and their prices are very reasonable, which is why many Pasadenians continue to stop in for casual dining time and time again.
Do you have a favorite dish from from Luciano’s?
If so we’d love to hear about it!
I heard that the meatball sandwich, gnocchi, and eggplant parmagiana are not to be missed.
Who’s had their pizza? I’m a huge pizza lover and haven’t yet had the opportunity to test it out 😉
Should you happen to be in the area we hope you’ll stop by and give the little Italian Ristorante a try. They are settled in the shopping center across from the Huntington Hospital, just a hop away from our day 121 – Zushi Restaurant.
