Food trucks are all the latest rage and why not?  Not only do you get to try different kinds of foods all in one place, but it’s becoming more of a community hangout where neighbors get together and enjoy a couple of hours of stress-free fun time.

Chefs Center of California has been hosting Friday Food Fair for awhile now.  Not only are several well known food trucks are invited, but food connoisseurs and artisans bringing the most delicious goodies can be found there.

Friday Food Fair - Pasadena

Last night, I joined a friend and her family and friends at what has become their weekly ritual and getaway.  The place was packed – many, many people.  And, at first, I was a bit apprehensive, thinking that it was going to take a long time to order and get my dinner.  However, the lines moved quickly and the selection was delectable.

I tried a sushi burrito – fresh water eel and spicy tuna – all rolled up into a burrito style sushi.  An interesting combination of flavors and a fun tasting.  And, of course, I couldn’t miss my fave – Nom Nom truck.  Best sandwiches ever – just a perfect combination of spice, marinated meats and fresh baguette bread.
