So, who is this Sadler person you ask?  According to Tim Gregory (The Building Biographer), the first owner of this bungalow was Mr. Howard Sadler.   He was a real estate agent and worked as a nortary public.  He had an office at the Chamber of Commerce Building located on Colorado Blvd.  The vacant lot was bought from Mr. Herbert North who owned the land from 1906.  The builder was Mr. John Erickson of Pasadena who has built number of other significant homes in the area.
