Do you have a little one that is fascinated by all things creepy and crawling? We have just the outing for you!

Day 64 of 365 Things to do in Pasadena™ welcomes you to the Kidspace Children’s Museum Bug and Insect Fair.

Be a part of the First Annual Bug and Insect Fair held this weekend July 17th & 18th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 pm.

Your entomologists-to-be will have a spectacular time! There will be insect enthusiasts, educators,and environmental groups along with amateur and professional entomologists making dynamic presentations and conducting fun demonstrations. This event is  sure to keep every member of the family entertained and amazed! I know I’d be keeping a close eye on those insects to make sure none of them decided to crawl their way onto me!

You’ll also be able to purchase  Fun and educational products including art, insect toys, books, insect specimens both living and prepared. I think I myself would go with the non-living specimens if I had to choose, a bug mummy actually sounds pretty cool to me. You’ll be able to find virtually anything insect-related you can think of at this unique and family-friendly affair. You can also adopt lady bugs and caterpillars at the Busy Bee Learning Store! Now these little guys or girls if we’re talking about lady bugs, are just cute enough to have crawling around your own back yard.

Head on down to Kidspace Children’s Museum we’re positive this will be a delightful outing for everyone in the family, filled with fun and education!

Looking for a way to round out the day of family fun and excitement? Pack your bathing  suits and floaties and head over to The Rose Bowl Aquatics Centers Family Movie Night taking place Saturday, July 17th. Free recreational swim begins at 7:30 p.m.
