It looks small from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. Offering group classes, personal fitness training, a fully equipped gym, pool, dry sauna and steam room, as well as an array of spa services like facials and massages, this is the ultimate place to go for working out and treating yourself as well.
It’s my club of choice due to the comfortable and easy going atmosphere. The instructors are by far the best that I’ve had in other clubs. I enjoy Katina’s Group Power and Muscle Works classes and started taking Spinning classes with Renee and Laura.
There’s Yoga, Zumba, Kickboxing, Pilates and Water Aerobics amongst the offerings.
If you have kids, child care is offered on-site in a fun, safe and friendly environment. Marjorie, club’s manager, even brings Lucy, her cocker in, once in awhile to make everyone smile.
However, what strikes me most, is that every time I walk in, I’m greeted by name. The staff makes it a point to learn everyone’s names and make each person feel special.
It’s located on the corner of Huntington Drive and Bedford Road. There’s plenty of parking behind the facility.
Here’s a quick video with Arlene, owner of the club:
Have you been to Women’s World? If so, what do you think?
