Day 250: Texas State Fair Cooking comes to Pasadena

“The stars at night, are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas….”

The stars aren’t the only thing big and bright in the state of Texas, their state Fair is known as the country’s largest and has been around since 1886.

You may remember seeing Ms. Oprah Winfrey and her gal pal Gayle King eat their way through the Fried Food Capital of Texas while they were on their Big Adventure in 2009.

Now the best of the Texas State Fair is making its way to the City of Roses.

Day 250 of  365 Things To Do in Pasadena presents you with an opportunity to learn how to make the “Best Of The Best” desserts and entrees from the Texas State Fair as seen on Oprah’s Big Adventure.

Head over to the Old Town Cooking School on Sunday, January 23rd for this fun filled class of prize winning recipes.
