Now that the turkey has been carved and pumpkin pie has been sliced (at least for some of us that started Thanksgiving early with our deep fried turkey), it’s time to kick of the official start of the holiday season!
Day 195 of 365 Things To Do in Pasadena welcomes you to the One Colorado Tree-Lighting Ceremony.
The event will be kicking off Friday, November 26th, 2010 at 6:00 p.m in the One Colorado Courtyard.
Santa will be arriving to light the gorgeous 35-foot tree along with the help of 2011 Rose Queen Evanne Friedman and her royal court.
Bring a new, unwrapped toy or book for the Tournament of Toys drive and get a FREE PHOTO with Old St. Nick from 6:30-9:00 p.m. The Charles Cherniss Tournament of Toys drive will benefit children in the San Gabriel Valley.
Also, you can have your young ones write a letter to Santa Clause and drop it in his mailbox for a personal reply!
Live sounds of the season will be provided for your entertainment by children from the Theatre 360 and students from the Los Angeles Music Academy.
Free hot cocoa and cookies will be provided for you to enjoy throughout this joyous evening.
The tree lighting ceremony and Santa’s arrival is free community event presented by One Colorado, Pasadena Star-News, and the Pasadena Jaycess.
There will be more festivities taking place at the Once Colorado Courtyard through December 24th.

Pet Night with Santa:
Thursday, December 9th from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Bring your pest dressed in his holiday best for their picture with Santa! Dogs, cats, exotic pets(and their owners) are invited to join in on this fun holiday One Colorado Tradition!
Prices range from $10.00 – $20.00.
Holiday Craft Work Shop
Saturday, December 18th from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Get crafty in the Courtyard with Commom Thread Studios. Felt and sewing supplies will be provided for you to stitch up a handmade holiday gift or ornament.
